County farmers have the opportunity to nominate, persons they feel would best serve the farm community. . Farmers will receive petitions forms by mail this' week. A . few basic considerations considera-tions should be kept in mind when circulating petitions. In order to, be valid, petitions peti-tions must be limited to one nominee each, must be signed sign-ed by at least three eligible eligi-ble farm voters in the county. And they-must be received in the County ASCS Office no later than November 2, 1981. ...;,. During the 1981 year the committee has been composed compos-ed of Ross Marshall, as chairman, Ronald Roberts, as vice chairman, and David Bradshaw as a regular mem -ber. Committee men are elected for a three year term. Mr. Marshall andMr. Roberts still have one and two years to serve. Mr. Bradshaw was elected last year to serve one year of an unexpired term. Farmers have the opportunity oppor-tunity to nominate candidates candida-tes of their choice to be placed on the Beaver County ASC Committee election ballot, bal-lot, says R.G. Gardner, Co. Executive Director. One committeeman and two alternates al-ternates are to be elected. elect-ed. The ASC Beaver County Committee election will be conducted this year from November 27 to December 7, 1981. A list of the names of all . known eligible persons to receive ballots in the upcoming up-coming election is availble in the County ASCS office. |
