That's just a sample of the kind of jabber auctioneer Andy Oost will toss in to keep your interest as he auctions off items at the Milford Methodist Church Auction- Rummage on Saturday. Sat-urday. October 10th at the Methodist Church. And while Andy is not above poking a little fun into the bidding, the bargains are real, both inside and outside the church. The annual auction will get underway at 9:00 a.m . sharp and go until everything outside out-side is sold. Then the rum mage inside the church basement base-ment begins, approximately at noon, with four big days of bargain hunting, because for the first time the church will continue the rummage sale on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, next week, October Oct-ober 10,12,13,14. Hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. There are litterallythou-sands litterallythou-sands of items ranging from the brand new to very very old antiques. For instance there's a kitchen table.crib, reducing machine, antique cash register, wood burning fireplace, new narrow bed tool box, nice furniture, and some for hunting camp. Then theres an antique shaving mirror, horse har ness, tv's, end tables, electric elec-tric range, refrigerator, sewing machines and 150 theatre seats. And that's just on the outside out-side along with much more for the auction. Inside there are clothes of every size and description toys, tools, appliances, ap-pliances, pots, pans, dishes, and just about anything you'd want. Best part Is that besides grabbing some fine bargains you'll be helping raise funds for the church. And there will be food and drinks available right on the grounds, so you won't need to pack a lunch. Come spend the whole day and have a good time while you're saving sav-ing money. |
