Show Wynaught receives awards In the past year LJV. 'Bert' Wynaught has been the recipient of awards from two organizations with which he has been associated for many years. In the spring of this year, the AAA Automobile Club of Utah sent their Secretary Steve Zoumadakis, of Salt Lake, to Milford to present personally to Mr. Wynaught a beautiful bronze plaque, which reads; "In grateful appreciation for distinguished service as President, and a member of the Board of Directors continuously con-tinuously since 1936". He is still a member of the Board of Directors. The Benevolent Protective Order of Elks, Lodge No. 1072 of Goldfield, Nevada, sent a beautiful plaque to Mr. Wynaught, which reads; "In recognition of 67 years as a member in good standing." Some years ago Mr. Wynaught Wy-naught was a member of the committee that instituted the Elks Lodge of Cedar City, and has many times enjoyed the fellowship of their meetings meet-ings and lodge facilities. Both of these plaques are cherished by Mr. Wynaught, as he has always deeply appreciated his association with each of these organizations. organiza-tions. Mr. Wynaught, now 97 years young, is presently in the Milford Valley Memorial Hospital, and welcomes visits from his friends at any time. i |
