Clair Empey ofDeleware-Orcal ofDeleware-Orcal Cable Inc. met and presented their proposal for cable TV within Beaver city. After discussion a franchise was granted to construct, operate op-erate and maintain a cable television system in the City of Beaver. All voted in favor. The Beaver CityMillLevy was set at 8.10 mills for the year 1981. A 11 voted in favor. It was the consensus of the Council that additional professional pro-fessional advice should be sought on the deeding of the narrowed city streets. It was the consensus of of the Council that Manager Baker should proceed immediately im-mediately to recondition the power plant line. The line is to be realigned and riased high enough to allow a secondary sec-ondary voltage line built under it. The line is to be relocated along the City-County City-County property limits. It was the consensus that Wlllesen should check the Police Logs on the dispatch of wrecker calls. A discussion was held on the Joseph R. Troyner agreement with BeaverCity. It was the Consensus of the Council, Recorder Low should seek a legal opinion from Michael T. McCoy as to the validity of Sonny Troy-ner's Troy-ner's agreement with Beaver City. It was decided that the LDS Church should meet with the Council and present their firm proposal for pouring concrete. City Manager Baker discussed dis-cussed the sale of Cemetery lots. He feels the price is too low and is causing an influx of burials. Bills were presented and approved. Mayor Christiansen was authoried to zhire an accountant ac-countant to perform the Fiscal Fis-cal Year 1980 and 1981 Audit. Aud-it. All voted in favor. |
