Show and Sarah Irving and their three girls. They are raov- ' Ing to St. George this week. They have been living In the Green River area for the past three years, and the last few months In Tooele. Irene Stewart, Linda and Brandy Jimenez, spent one lay last week in Cedar do-rhg do-rhg some busness and buying buy-ing school clothes for Brandy. James Stewart, of HI-watha HI-watha has been staying with his mother, Irene Stewart. He is recuperating from having hav-ing his knee operated on in the Provo Hospital. Irene drove to Hiwatha and picked him up and brought him over to stay. Friday they drove to Provo for a checkup. Mel and LuAnn Walker spent one day a week ago in Salt Lake getting some materials ma-terials to remodel their bathroom. While they wee here they stopped to visit Brian and Susan Christensen and family. LuAnn andSusan had not seen each other for 4 years. LuAnn talked Susan Su-san Into a return visit to Mllford. Susan and her sister, sis-ter, Terry, and Susan's 2 children spent a couple of days this last week In Mil -ford. Susan and her sis-ford. sis-ford. While here they and the Walkers spent a couple of days in the Beaver Mountains Moun-tains picknicklng and letting the children fish. They really real-ly had a great time renewing their friendship. John and Betty Jimenez celebrated their 30th wedding wed-ding anniversary on August 5th. Their daughter LuAnn Walker and grandchildren Daniel and Jackie took them to a Chinese Dinner at the Hong Kong that evening. Renee Foster and daughter daugh-ter Julia, of East Layton, Barbara McCarry and two children are all here visiting visit-ing with their parents Hal and Ina Norton. Barbara is from Anchorage, Alaska. Marge Mecham recently spent some time In Gleen-wood Gleen-wood visiting Paul and Peggy Peg-gy Mecham and family. Marges Mar-ges granddaughter, Melanie returned with her to spend a couple of days. Marge spent this last weekend In New Harmony visiting with her mother, Emma Nielson. Donald Livingston has been attending Engineering school In Salt Lake. While he was there Shelly and Ni-sha Ni-sha spent one weekend with him. Hubert Smith and two daughters of Ogden, spent the weekend here with his mother, moth-er, Vilate Lang. Roy and Winnie Myers and Leon and Audrey Jones joined some other temple workers and went on a temple tour. They were gone for over two weeks and attended sessions at the Los Angeles, Oakland, Seattle, Seat-tle, Cardston, Idaho Falls, Logan, Ogden, Salt Lake, Provo and Manti Temples. They also visited points of Interest in the areas that Lincoln Jimenez, 4 year old son of Rona and Robert Jimenez, of Hiawatha, Utah was operated on in the Price Hospital. He is doing fine now. Lincoln is the grandson grand-son of John and Betty Jim -enez. Cindy, Densel and Bryan Bry-an Lang, of St. George, were here visiting a week ago at the home of John and Betty Jimenez. They also brought their friend, Ross, of St. George, and his neph ew Brian, of Indiana with them. The guys spent some' time fishing In the Beaver Mountains andatMinersvllle Reservoir. They had lots of fun but the fishing wasn't too good. Kathy and Larry Jimenez spent a couple of days in Hiawatha, visiting with his brother, Robert and Rona Jimenez and family. Stopping by to say hello to the Jimenez's were former for-mer Milford residents Don they were visiting. John and Betty Jimenez and Jerry and Cathy and Lacy and Natalie Jimenez drove to Provo Saturday. Kimmel Coon celebrated his 80th birthday August 4. He didn't have a party but friends and family, and his neighbors dropped by to wish him many more. He had a lovely birthday cake made by Bobbl James. Joan and Ed Holland recently re-cently returned from a three month vacation to Europe. They visited their daughter daugh-ter and family, Vicki, Skip and brooke Briscoe, at Bin-and Bin-and Brooke Briscoe, at Bindlach, Germany. They saw most of Germany plus many out lying points. Ed, Skip and Brooke thoroughly enjoyed the Zugspitz.acable car that takes you to the highest point of the German Alps, where parts of four countries can be seen. Joan and Vicki enjoyed King Lud-wig's Lud-wig's castles, especially Herrenchiemsee, which is situated in the middle of a lake on an island. Everybody Every-body enjoyed the Rhine cruise. The scenery was beautiful and very much different from the States. Ed and Skip weren't too thrilled, but Joan, Vicki and Brooke thought the crystal factories were grand! Sophie Joyner of La Mesa, California, was) in milford visiting the Fotheringhams and other friends. She was accompanied by her son and daughter in law, from New, Jersey. |
