Show Tujin-U gfnr boats of'l four The Twin-M Soil Conservation Conser-vation District (SCD) was host for the National Association Associ-ation of Soil Conservation Districts (NACD) Range Committee's Tour and Steak Fry in western Beaver Co. " June 4th as part of the Committee Com-mittee meeting held in Cedar City June 3, 4, and 5th. The group of 106 toured the Wood and Eyre Range, stopped stop-ped at the Desert Range Experiment Ex-periment Station and viewed the western Desert winter ranges. Utah was picked for the meeting because of the successful suc-cessful range Improvement program involving funding through the State Range Development De-velopment Program and other state and federal agencies. agen-cies. The NACD Range Committee Commit-tee members are from Idaho, Nevada, New Mexico, Alaska Alas-ka and Florida. Other on the tour were; NACD Executive Director, & State SCD Range Committee members from Idaho and Wyoming, State Range Development De-velopment Director of Montana, Mon-tana, National Range Man agement directors from BLM, SCS, and FS, president of the Utah Chapter Siern Club, Range Specialists.Fist and Game Specialists, Dept. of History and State Lands, SCS State Conservationist, and Environmental Special, ist, State and local BLM, 3 state representatives an: ! 1 Senator, local representa-j tives of the Extension Sen-1 ice, SCS, ASCS, Twin V j SCD members and wives, The Wood and Eyre fami-i lies, ranchers from San tei and beaver County, BU! i Advisory Boards, US AL-; Force.
