Show i s : mmmim Wilma Davis - 386-2211 Dr. Lew Carter and family fami-ly spent the Easter weekend with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Carter. Mr. and Mrs. Jay Pryor and family were weekend quests of Mr. andMrs. Grant Pryor. Mr. and Mrs. Alton Marshall Mar-shall drove to Moab to visit their daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Verl Parker. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Makln have been visitors at the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Pryor, for a week. Mrs. Arshel Evans celebrated cele-brated her birthday April 18th. Her family enjoyed a lovely turkey dinner, Mr. and Mrs. Al Marin, of Las Vegas; Max and Elaine Limb and family, Ronnie and Genl-el Genl-el Roberts, and family, of Beaver; Robert and Roma Strong, of St. George all attended at-tended the dinner. Mrs. Don Stoddard and family flew Into Salt Lake from Tacoma, and Wayne and Merle Gllllns and Cyn thia drove to Salt Lake to bring them down for a visit. Mr. and Mrs.NewellMar-shall Mrs.NewellMar-shall took their trailer and spent some time In Snow Canyon with Russell and Eva Guymon. On Saturday Darwin Dar-win and Vivian Marshall spent the day there with them. Rulon Eyre celebrated his birthday April 16. All his family enjoyed cake and ice cream that evening. Mr. and Mrs. Kent Limb, of Vernal, spent a couple of their spring vacation days with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Limb. Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Edwards Ed-wards and son, were here for the funeral of their grandfather, Jasper Puffer. They stayed with their parents par-ents Mr. and Mrs. Doug Blackburn. Their grandson, grand-son, Gordon Mulr, who recently re-cently returned from an LDS Mission to Japan, also visited visit-ed them. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Mulr, of Las Vegas. Mr and Mrs. Mike Gllllns Gll-llns are proud parents of a baby boy born in the Beaver Beav-er Hospital. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Gllllns; great grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Ty Gil-11ns. Gil-11ns. Mr. andMrs. Ralph Bailey, Bail-ey, of Kearns, spent the long weekend with their parents par-ents Mr. and Mrs. Goldie Marshall. Jean and Gladys Pltchforth also visited them for a couple of days. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Hol-lingshead Hol-lingshead and Mr. and Mrs. Don Jex were here to attend at-tend the wedding of Janette Holllngshead. The community was saddened sad-dened to hear of the death of Al Mosher, a former resident resi-dent of Minersville. |
