Show The following attended: Lillian Atkln, Neva Kinrose, Dora Smithson, Claris Price, Nora Wright, Margie Mar-gie Sherwood. VFW AUXILIARY INSTALLS NEW OFFICERS HERE V.F.W. Auxiliary, of Es-calante Es-calante Post 1546, met at the home of Myral Jennings, with 7 present. Comminications were read. Our auxiliary has 100 membership. Our national VFW home is going to close. Not enough children chil-dren 17 and under to keep it going. New officers for the com -ing year are Margie Sherwood, Sher-wood, President; Dora Smithson, Senior Vice President; Claris Price, Jr. Vice President; Patriotic Instructor, In-structor, Lillian Atkln; Chaplin, Neva Kinrose;Tre-asurer Kinrose;Tre-asurer Nora Wright; Secretary, Secre-tary, Myrl Jennings; Guard Leonora Johnson; Trustees, Neva Kinrose, Lillian Atkin, Dorothy Terry ; Conductor, Dorothy Terry. A sympathy card signed by the group was sent to Dorothy Terry, in memory of her sister. Mrs. Jennings served a very delicious strawberry shortcake. |
