Show na - feedback Dear Editor: As a native of Milford, I sympathize with you and all the people concerned over the loss of thebeautifulSpan-ish thebeautifulSpan-ish structure that has been estimated the cost would be in excess of $427,000 to renew re-new plumbing, heating distribution dis-tribution system, building" repairs, including new roof, electrical and air conditioning condition-ing modernization. It would be reasonable to assume a 30 increase in that cost today, and the Railroad cannot can-not justify this expense. Please be assured every factor was taken into consideration con-sideration prior to the decision de-cision to replace the Depot, and no other conclusion could be gained. The office building build-ing replacement will be a well - designed structure complimenting the City and will be an attractive addition additi-on to the area. Yours truly, J.R. You have by now been advised of the latest lat-est development in which the City of Milford will not pursue pur-sue the matter through the courts, and have read the letter to the City from our Vice President Davis, appearing ap-pearing in the Beaver Co. News. There is little I can do to, add to that information other than to reiterate our position that the building has outlived it's usefulness, and to continue to maintain it simply to preserve it's unique uni-que architectural beauty cannot be done from a cost effective standpoint.
