Show Farm Dureau to hold Ull meet To help assess the impact of MX on agriculture and the rural sector of the state, the Farm Bureau will hold a meeting in Milford on Monday, Mon-day, October 8, at 1:30 p.m. in the HighSchool Auditorium. Audi-torium. Additional meetings are scheduled October 7, In Cedar City, and Delta on October 8, both at 7:30 p.m. Spence Kinard, news director di-rector for KSL-TV will serve as moderator. Speakers Speak-ers will include Ken Olsen, State MX Coordinator for Utah, Brig. Gen. James McCarthy or his representatives, represen-tatives, and Mayor Young, representing local elected officials. The format of the meeting will allow each speaker to make a statement, then answer ans-wer questions from the audience. 'Iff filler : -'- Ul III MISSLE VANDALS: Someone with strong opinions on the MX saw fit to express their opinions by vandalizing most of the stop signs in St. George. We shot this picture of one of the signs last week. We strongly support the right everyone has to freedom of expression but that freedom does not include defacing public property. |
