Ron and Sally Rose, and family, have been enjoying a visit from their daughter, Debbie Smith, and children, Krlsty, Adam and Kylee, of Bakersfield, CA. Debbles husband, George, had to remain re-main In California. While here, they've also been visiting visit-ing with Debbles' sister and brother In law, Chellie and Dale Craw, and family, of Minersvllle, and Rick Rose, and family. Grandparents, too, Cecil and Jo. Klllam; also Elmo and Ramonde Smith, Debbie's In laws. On Sunday, Debbie's two children, Kylee and Adam were both blessed by their Uncle Dale Craw. Cecil and Jo Killam had their daughter and family, Kathy and Conrad Hintze, of South Jordan and their 3 children, Kurt, Anjl and Mark here for the weekend. Kevin and Kaye Lynn Og-den Og-den are thrilled with the arrival ar-rival of their baby daughter, daugh-ter, Charlsle Lynn. She was born April 18, at St. Mark's Hospital in Salt Lake. She weighed in at 7 pounds and 11 ounces. Proud new grandparents are Jack and Gwen Ogden, of Milford.and Don and Ann Gale, of Bountiful. Bounti-ful. Mrs. Altheda Gale, of Milford Is Charlsle's happy new great grandmother, and Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Powell, Po-well, of Beaver, also join the ranks of great grandparents. Kathy Acklln was happy to have a visit from her two sisters, both living in Salt Lake, Debbie Miller and Joy Hillman. They were both here for the weekend. The Usher Wilcocks' recently re-cently enjoyed a visit from their daughter and son In law, Joe and Brenda Dunlap, and their three children, Joe, Wade and Meagen, from Katy, Texas. While they were here the family all traveled to Sandy to visit with Brenda's sister, Diane Di-ane and JamesCox and fam -lly, then on to Kaysville, to visit another sister,San-dra sister,San-dra and Danny James, and family. James Hardy, Carl Yount and Bishop Bill Nichols all went to Lake Powell this last week to spend several days fishing and enjoying a great time. The Kay Banks home was the setting for a baby shower show-er given In honor of Marl-Jane Marl-Jane Banks on April 16. A fun time was had by all. The shower was given by Blllie Osborne, Jean Williams, Wil-liams, and Marian Banks. Kay and Marian Banks all went to Beaver to enjoy the Lamanlte Generation performance per-formance and to celebrate their wedding anniversary. Then on Sunday, Marians fols, Lola and James Hol-llngshead Hol-llngshead honored the Banks at their home with a lovely anniversary dinner. The LDS youth from the Beaver Stake Joined with other young people from the Pangultch and Escalante areas for a big trl -stake Youth Conference in Escalante Es-calante this weekend. The young people spent their time enjoying square dancing, danc-ing, hiking, and lots of other fun activities concluding with Rodnie and Sally Nichols and family, are happy to have their little daughter, Jennifer, Jen-nifer, home after six weeks in intensive care at Idaho Falls Hospital. Jennifer was born prematurely March 8, at St. Anthony's Hospital. She has one brother, Mark Rodnie. Bishop Shirly W. and Edna Ed-na Nichols received phone calls telling them of their sons, Blaine, of Houston, and Max, of Bountiful, both receiving calls to the High Council in their LDS Stakes. Shirl and Dianne Nichols have moved Into their new home In Cedar City. Blake and Terry Madsen, I of Farmington, New Mexico, are proud parents of a beautiful baby girl, Anna Lee, born April 17. She Is welcomed home by three brothers and one sister.The Madsens are former resl- a special testimony meet-1 meet-1 ing Sunday morning. All those who attended had a i super time. |
