Show 21, 29, 1978 and January 4, 1979. of Beaver County will register regis-ter as provided by law at his office during regular office of-fice hours, except Saturdays, Sundays and holidays and except during the ten -day period immediately preceding pre-ceding the bond election, any person who on the day of election will be a qualified elector. The County Clerk will make available at the above -described polling place registration lists or copies thereof listing all registered electors entitled to use such voting place. Absent -voter ballots may be obtained by any person otherwise eligible to vote at the special bond election but who on the day of the election, expects to be temporarily absent from the City of Mil-ford, Mil-ford, or disabled, by making application, within thirty (30) days next preceding the election, either in person or by mail at the office of the City Recorder, Milford City Offices, 55 West 400 South Street, Milford, Utah. Notice is further given that on Monday, the 15th day of January, 1979, that being within ten days after said election the City Council shall meet in public session as a Board of Canvassers at its regular meeting place at the City Offices, 55 West 400 South Street, in the City of Milford, Utah, at 8:00 o'clock P.M. and canvass the returns and declare the results re-sults of said election. Young Mayor ATTEST: Betty Lou Bacon City Recorder Published in the Beaver-County Beaver-County News December 14, NOTICE OF SPECIAL BOND ELECTION TO ALL QUALIFIED ELECTORS OF THE CITY OF MILFORD , BEAVER COUNTY, UTAH: Take notice that on Tuesday, Tues-day, the 9th day of January, 1979, a special bondelection will be held in the City of Milford, Beaver County, Utah, at the place set out below for the purpose of submitting sub-mitting to the qualified electors of said City the following proposition: PROPOSITION Shall the City Council of the City of Milford, Beaver Bea-ver County, Utah, be authorized to issue the negotiable General Obligation Obli-gation Recreational Facilities Fa-cilities Bonds of said City in the amount of not to exceed ex-ceed Sixty Thousand Dollars Dol-lars ($60,000.00), bearing interest at such rate or rates as the City Council may determine, to be due and payable in not to exceed ex-ceed Twenty (20) years from the date of said Bonds; said bonds to be full general obligations of the City and a charge against the City's general credit and taxing powers; said bonds to be issued and sold for the purpose of defraying de-fraying all or part of the cost of acquiring and constructing con-structing recreational facilities, fa-cilities, including, without with-out limitation, a golf course, for the City, including in-cluding all engineering and legal and fiscal advisor's fees and costs Incident to the authorization and issuance is-suance of such bonds? Voting Districts 1 and 2 of the City of Milford will be combined for said election elect-ion and said election will be held in Milford, Utah, at the following polling place and the persons indicated as follows fol-lows will act as election judges and alternate election elect-ion judges: VOTING DISTRICTS Milford Voting District Nos. 1 and 2. POLLING PLACE Milford Public Library, 336 South 100 West.Milford, Utah. ELECTION OFFICLALS Judges: Suzan Atkin, Vilate Lang, John Easton. Alternate Judges: Melba White, Nora Wright and Helen Cook. The voting at such special bond election shall be by ballot, which ballots will be furnished by the City Recorder Re-corder of the City of Milford Mil-ford to the Judges of the election, to be by them furnished fur-nished to the qualified electors. The polls at the aforesaid polling place shall be open between the hours of 7:00 o'clock A.M. and 8:00 o'clock P.M. There will be no special registration of voters for such election and the official register last made or revised re-vised shall constitute the register for such election, except that the County Clerk |
