Satur-. day, when Santa Claus draws their names near the Com -munity Christmas tree in the Milford Historical Park. Santa will make a special trip back to Milford for the drawing at 2:00 p.m. He spent last Saturday afternoon visiting with local youngsters young-sters and getting their last minute Christmas lists. Santa will draw nine $50.00 cash prizes, plus a grand prize of $125.00, and many merchandise prizes, all offered of-fered by Milford businesses. The annual Christmas giveaway give-away is sponsored by the Milford Business Association. Associ-ation. You need not be presentto win any prize except the grand prize of $125.00. It will be the last prize drawn and Santa will continue drawing draw-ing until he finds a winner in the crowd. Some instore prizes will be drawn before the 2:00 p.m. drawing, in the various stores, before the coupons are collected and put in the big squirrel cage. Local children can call 387-2787 to talktoSanta between 2:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Decorations and displays for the Milford City Historical Histori-cal ParkChristmas decorating decorat-ing contest had to be up by Wednesday, December 20 to compete for the prizes of $150.00 and $75.00. Judging for that and the Lady Lions lighting and decoration contests con-tests for residential and business will take place on Friday, December 22, so be sure you have your decorating decorat-ing completed and the lights turned on that night. Contest rules call for them to be on every night through Decern -ber 30th. In case you want to check the judges, the displays in the Historical Park will be judged on originality, color and design, use of materials, neatness and durability. A maximum of 20 points is given in each category. Look them over, and judge them yourself on this basis and see if you can pick the winner. win-ner.
