He's full of life, kindness, and so much love, He's my dear friend, A Man I Call "Pops." Sonia Many friends and relatives of Dan Ferguson stopped by Sunday, October 9th, to wish him well on his 80th birthday. birth-day. His children, grand- . children and great-grandchildren, and many friends who feel like family, shared the happy occasion, as Dan basked in the love that radiated ra-diated aromChina, , "Pops" as many callhim, says, "You get out of life what you give." t was obvious ob-vious Sunday, that many were appreciative of his service to the community. Over the years his beautiful beau-tiful singing voice has provided pro-vided entertainment for many special occasions. He was in constant demand for weddings and funerals. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO A MAN I CALL POPS Way back in the nineteen fifties, When I was in my prime, There was a man who lived down the street, Kc was a very good friend of mine. He had to put up with giggling girls. Taco parties and all kinds of noise, Phone calls in the middle of the night, And then a houseful of boys. During those times whether we were happy or sad He was always there by our side. He made each one of us feel so special, |
