Show w'ilma Davis - 386-2211 her parents and family, Mr. and Mrs. Milton Albrecht. Mr. and Mrs. Don Stoddard, from Salt Lake spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Gillins. Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Dot-son Dot-son went to Idaho to welcome a new grandchild. Parents Allen Wood, Tony Pearson, Pear-son, and Shawn Pearson, were home from SUSC for the weekend. Allen Carter and Clauss Marshall bagged an elk. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Strong and children, spent the weekend in Minersville with Mr. and Mrs. Arshell Evans. Mr. and Mrs. Evans also spent some time visiting visit-ing in Las Vegas. Mrs. Eulalia Davis had her son and family visiting her from Cedar. Senior Citizens who enjoyed en-joyed a tour to Zions Park were Mr. and Mrs. Doug i Blackburn, Mr. and Mrs. Delmer Gray, Mrs. Vera Carter, Mr. and Mrs. Al Mosher, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Gibson, Mrs. EffieMarshall, Mr. and Mrs. Darwin Marshall, Mar-shall, Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Jameson, Mr. and Mrs. Sherwin Wood, and Mrs. A letha Gillins. There are three new homes going up in Minersville. Miners-ville. Mr. and Mrs. Gary Gillins, and Mr. and Mrs. Steve Gillins are building, as is Flossie Rassmusson. Mrs. Renae Williams spent a few days home with are Mr. and Mrs. Danny Price. Newell Carter traveled to Temple City, California, for the funeral of his brother, Theron Carter. Last week, Vera Carter, Vickie Carter, and Margaret Carter all had birthdays. They all went to Cedar to celebrate with a Mexican dinner. Mr. and Mrs. Newell Marshall Mar-shall picked up Pie Garret in Delta, and Nancy Yardley in Salt Lake, then went to Nebraska to see their two brothers and family, Joe Marshall, and Kim Marshall. Mr. andMrs. Lou Griffiths had the pleasure of June's sister, Ella King, and daughter, Adele, and son,' Grant King, from California, spending the weekend witli them. Mr. andMrs. Lou Griffiths traveled to Salt Lake City to see their daughter who had undergone surgery. Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Thompson went to Salt Lake to visit their children. Mr. and Mrs. Marshall Hollingshead took a trip during school vacation. They went to Middleton, Idaho, to visit their son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Duke Hollingshead. Hollings-head. Mr. Lee Marshall flew to Rapid City, South Dakota to attend a dairy meeting. He is president of Western General Gen-eral Dairies. Mrs. Wayne Gillins and Mrs. Larry Bailey went to Salt Lake to give a Tup-perware Tup-perware party atMarybeth's mother's home. Mr. and Mrs.- Kurt Seg-miller Seg-miller from St. George, were home for the weekend visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Delroy Craw. Mrs. Garold Eyre went to Salt Lake to visit her family, Lori and Bill Rasmussen and children. Mr. and Mrs. MikeKelsey are home after spending the summer in Denver working with race horses. Lyla Truman was home visiting family over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Skip Thompson Thomp-son and family, will be vacationing this week. They will go to Provo to see the BYU-Utah State Football game, then they will go to Logan. They will visit in New Mexico with Skip's brother, who is a football coach. They will also visit with Skip's parents, Mr. and Mrs. CP. Thompson, who will accompany them home. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Greer from Roy, Utah, are visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Wood. Mr. and Mrs. Garold Eyre received word of the birth of a new grandchild. Mr. and Mrs. Kendall Eyre, of Fort Collins, Colorado, have a new baby girl. She has a brother, Jeremy, at home. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Bailey came to visit their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Goldie Marshall. Allen Davis celebrated his 10th birthday on October 9th. His classmates helped him celebrate. Glen Marshall was home from Provo for the weekend. He and his mother, Mrs. Marie Marshall, went to Provo to the Missionary farewell for Connie Hutch -ings, daughter of Kenneth and Helen Hutchings. |
