Make sure you're eligible to vote on November 7th. Be sure you are registered. There are school district races in two districts. The boundaries for school district dis-trict 4 are the same as Milford precinct 1 and school district "5 is the same as Milford precinct 2. Every election there are those who show up at the polls or worse stay home because of failure fail-ure to register. With the general election just a few weeks away, you should ckeck now to make certain you are registered. If you have moved to a new precinct since the last time you voted, it is necessary nec-essary to re -register. If you have turned 18 years of age and not registered, you must before you can cast a ballot. If you have not voted in the past four years, your registration is no longer current, and you must re -register. There are three more days to register in your local precinct before the election. Those dates are October 14, 17 and 31. Or you m ay-register ay-register on any other dates up to October 27th at the county clerk's office, during regular office hours. Becoming involved in elections is a tradition with many people. Others don't even Ixither to vote. Beaver County had less than 30 turnout in the last election of registered voters. Those who didn't vote, and were registered could have controlled con-trolled or reversed the outcome out-come of every contest. It's just as possible, that there are enough unregistered un-registered voters in the county to also have changed the outcome of each race. If you're not sure if you are registered to vote, a simple phone call to the county clerk will suffice. Or you can check with your local precinct registrar on the above stated dates.
