This information is recorded re-corded by 30 monitoring stations sta-tions throughout the state of Utah. Most of the violations viola-tions occur on the rural interstate, in-terstate, in areas like the Salt Flats, where 74.8 percent per-cent of the motorists exceed the 55 mile per hour limit. The number of speed limit violators on the urban interstate inter-state is considerably less. This study further reports that 26 percent of the vehicles ve-hicles state -wide travelled 60 miles per hour or faster, fast-er, and 7.3 percent went 65 miles per hour or faster.
