It rained all but five days while they were there. UiRee Hollis, daughter of Essie and Earl Thompson, spent a week visiting in Liverpool, Liv-erpool, England with a friend, Mary Ellen Crane. They vis-jted vis-jted a former La Miradan, Esther Morecroft, and together to-gether they hosted a bicentennial bicen-tennial evening with the lo-cai lo-cai Relief Society of the jlormon Church. LaRee and jlary Ellen had brought many monientos from, the U. and the party was very interesting interest-ing with the English ladies captivated with U.S. customs. Mr. and Mrs. Ross Patterson Pat-terson were in Salt Lake and Orem on Friday and Saturday Satur-day to attend an Open House celebrating the Golden Wedding Wed-ding of a brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Wal-lace Patterson. Also attending attend-ing from Milford were Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Griffiths and Mr. and Mrs . Harry Rose. On Wednesday, June 30, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Belliston lew from Las Vegas to San Jose and then drove back to Milford with their daughter, Sammie, who came for afew days visit, and also a dental appointment. On July 8th, they all drove to Las Vegas where Sammie flew back to her home in Mountain View, Calif, and the elder Bellis-tons Bellis-tons drove back to Milford. At the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Belliston over the weekend were their sonDen-nis sonDen-nis and grandson Mark of San Ramon, Calif. Dennis was here for the golf tournament. tourna-ment. On Monday morning they drove back to their new home in San Jose, Calif. (Pamela didthe movingwhile Dennis was here playing golf. Jeanette Kohler drove to Salt Lake City two weeks ago and visited her daughter Madelyn and family, Mr. and Mrs. James Mash. She then flew to Poway, Calif, and visited with her son and family, fam-ily, Bishop and Mrs. Ned Kohler. She brought two of Ned's children, Jill and Kevin, Kev-in, back with her. They flew to Salt Lake City, where Jeanette picked up her car and also her grandson, Blake Mash, and they all returned to Milford for a visit with grandmother Jeanette last week. Mr. and Mrs. Hy Tolley have had quite a housefull this past two weeks. They were: Mr. and Mrs. Bill Miller from Sun City, Ariz., Mr. and Mrs. Glenn (Donna) Roberts, who were recently married, and Corry Roberts and Debbie Winn. Debbie is staying with her grandparents grandpar-ents for another week's visit. vis-it. They are all from River-ton, River-ton, Utah. Mr.andMrs.Merl' Tolley from Moses Lake, Washington were visiters, visit-ers, also. They all enjoyed fishing while here. Mr. and Mrs. Mitch Fisher Fish-er had Beth's niece and husband, hus-band, Mr. and Mrs. John Burke of Blackfoot, Idaho, visit and enjoy supper with them Tuesday. They were on their way home from Calif, and Mexico. This weekend their son Mike and children were here from Woodland, Calif, and also their son Rob and his fiancee from Provo. Mr. andMrs. Earl Thompson Thomp-son were happy to have their son Leland and a friend from Salt Lake visit them over the weekend. They spent Sunday in theBeaver mountains picnicking pic-nicking and fishing. Emma Smith and her granddaughter, Kristine Smith of Salt Lake, were here in Milford Sunday. Mr. andMrs. Hubert Smith and girls stopped . in for a short visit with his mother, Vilate Lang, sunaay. mey were on their way to San Diego, Calif, to visit Mrs. Smith's sister. ' Mr. and Mrs. Tom Walker Walk-er visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Marion Walker, S aturday evening. They just retuened home from their honeymoon trip to Mexico. They all enjoyed dinner at the Black Steer in Beaver. Isabelle and Veda Cox and Mr. and Mrs. Usher Wilcox have had their grandson, Kevin Cox, and a friend, Rick, visit them. |
