Show Comor, .lilford Plan 24ft July 24th. activities are planned in both ends of the county with the highlight of the big weekend being the Beaver Lions Race Meet on July 22-23 and 24, and the Little Britches Rodeo, sponsored spon-sored by the Beaver Jaycees, on the 24th after the races. Both communities plan parades, kids races, and other oth-er activities. In Milford, Ray Whiting is chairman for the 1st Ward. They'll kick off with achuck-wagon achuck-wagon breakfast, 6:30 to 9:00 a.m. Parade at 9:30, followed follow-ed by games and concessions in the City Park. There'll be a free swim with kids diving for corns. A ballgame from 4-6 p.m. at the high school and a dance at 9:00 p.m. in the elementary school. Beaver's races get rolling on Thursday and Friday, as well as cm the 24th. The 24th activities start at 10 a.m. with the parade, followed by a Pioneer Memorial Me-morial Day Program, and kids races in the park. At noon the Beaver 1st Ward will serve a roast beef dinner. din-ner. Post time is 2:00 p.m. and the Little Britches Rodeo is at 7:30 p.m. Entries must be in by 6:00 p.m. |
