Show i n i " SNAKE VALLEY REUNION SET SEPT. 4 AND 5 . The Snake Valley Reunion committee met recently in preparation for a big Labor Day Celebration, Saturday, Sept. 4th, and Sunday, Sept. 5th, in the Baker, Nevada-Garrison, Nevada-Garrison, Utah area. The annual event is marked by a dance, Bar -B -Que, fishing, camping, seeing old friends, and having a good time in general. The Saturday night dance will be held In Garrison, sporting a live band, "The Country Four", out of St. George, Utah, which will play from 9 p.m., MDT. As always, al-ways, there will be plenty of door prizes. Sunday, at 12 noon, pot-luck pot-luck will feature pit barbecued barbe-cued beef, corn, coffee, rolls, tomatoes, root beer, watermelon, water-melon, and several mystery prizes. The committee is encouraging encour-aging Ul instrument playing folk to bring their favorite; guitar, fiddle, wash-tub, mouth harp, kazoo, or whatever, what-ever, along for an impromptu impromp-tu jam session at the barbecue barbe-cue Sunday afternoon. There must be a few folks out there who know another tune besides be-sides "My Dog Has Fleas". We are also looking for a cartoonist who does caricatures carica-tures of people, and anyone having information on such a person should contact Steph Licht co Baker, Nevada. |
