HUNTING AND FISHING DA Y SET Utah Governor Calvin L. Ramp ton has signed a proc-- proc-- lama tion designating Saturday, Sat-urday, September 27, as Utah Hunting and FishingDay, coinciding co-inciding with the National Hunting and Fishing Day. ytah's celebration of the annual observance will be cosponsored by the Valley Fair Mall and the Utah Wildlife Wild-life and Outdoor Recreation Federation. The event will be held at the Mall, 2601 . South 2700 West, Granger, Utah, on September 27. This year's theme is "Hunting and Fishing are Conservation". As noted in the proclamation signed by Governor Hampton, hunters and anglers have been the leaders in nearly all major conservation programs since the turn of the century. The proclamation further states, "These sportsmen-conservationists sportsmen-conservationists are responsible re-sponsible for the founding of state fish and game departments depart-ments in all 50 states. They asked that they themselves be required to buy licenses and that the money collected be used to support state conservation con-servation agencies.
