Selreshments were served it the beginning of the eve-ilng eve-ilng and enjoyed throughout the entire night. Seniors and Mr mothers surely enjoyed en-joyed the hospitality of the BPW members. Tuesday evening Beaver Third Ward had a potluck prty In honor of their retiring re-tiring bishopric, Howard Bradshaw, Roy Yardley and Dai Joseph. Ward members brought food and everyone ile a hardy dinner. Calvin yardley was In charge of the evening. Roses were presetted pre-setted to the wives, La Verne Bradshaw, Mildred Yardley, ad Joyce Joseph. Each of tt men received a Carnation. Carna-tion. Elizabeth Yardley wote the program which consisted 0f Roger Brad-f Brad-f aw, Kelly smith, and Jeff Joseph recalling various hu-merous hu-merous episodes in the lives of their fathers and grandfathers grand-fathers as narrated by Es-telle Es-telle Baker. The Laurel class gave Bishop Bradshaw a handmade quilt; likewise, fte MIA Maid class gave Roy yardley a handmade quilt and the Beehive gave Dan Joseph a handmade quilt In appreciation appre-ciation of the many hours those men had given to the classes. The night ended with dancing provided by Jack Waters and Gordon Baker. Class officers were also selected with the exception ex-ception of the 9th grade which will wait for Mlnersvllle to join them In the fall. Forty-seven seniors, accompanied by Vernon Con-die Con-die and Don Tuft, spent the day at Lagoon Amusement Park. The weather cooperated cooper-ated to make it a memorable day. Coming this week will be a dance on Friday, May 16, sponsored by the B Steps.
