Show HOSPITAL BENEFIT DANCE TO RAISE MONEY FOR TV'S A $2.00 ticket will buy you and your partner an evening of dancing and listening to Neil and Rosemary Forester of Delta, Saturday, May 17, from 9:30 to 12:30 p.m. But even more, your $2.00 ticket will help purchase re -mote control color tv's for the Mllford Valley Memorial Hospital rooms. Presently, there are tv's in the Geriatrics ward of the hospital, but none in the general gen-eral admittance rooms. Persons Per-sons wishing to have tv while convalescing must now furnish fur-nish their own. Administrator John Max-ey Max-ey says that all of the organizations organ-izations of the hospital are working diligently to raise money to purchase tv's, so that they will be free to the patients and not be charged for as part of the dally hospital hos-pital rate. Letters have gone out to local organizations, and already al-ready several have responded respond-ed with donations. A number of businesses and individuals have made contributions. Maxey said they will accept donations from anyone, and especially hope that people and organizations from throughout the Hospital District Dis-trict 2, which includes all of Western Beaver County, including Mlnersville, will help to provide the patients with remote control tv's for each room. He says the tv's will be appreciated by every patient admitted,, and who knows, you may be one of them. The dance caps off National Nation-al Hospital Week. Proceeding Proceed-ing the dance will be the annual an-nual employees appreciation dinner for staff and their partners, including the Grey Ladies and Candy Stripers. |
