Show KENJONESTAKES GOLD MEDAL IN 17'9" LONG JUMP Ken Jones soared to a first . place finish and a gold medal last week In the BYU Jr. High Invitational track and field meet. He competed with Jr. High athletes from the five mountain states of Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, Idaho, and Nevada. Also competing from Mllford Mll-ford were David Livingston, Dennis Myers, and Kim Williams. Wil-liams. Ken outjumped all opponents oppon-ents in the long Jump with a jump of 17' 9" to win the gold medal, then jumped 5' 7-34" in the high jump to tale home a bronze medal in that event. |
