Irma Eyre was In the Beaver Hospital for a few days after having a growth removed from her nose. The Minersville Ward held a New Year's Eve party on Tuesday evening. A large crowd enjoyed games and a ham and egg breakfast. Wayne Gillins was operated operat-ed on last Monday in the Ce -dar City Hospital for the removal re-moval of a cataract from his eye. He is home nowand feeling feel-ing better. Dixie Pearson underwent surgery in the Cedar City Hospital Monday, Dec. 30. Last report she was much improved and will soon be home. The day after Christmas, Arshal and Lela Evans celebrated cele-brated their 46th Wedding Anniversary. Their children gave them an anniversary dinner at the trailer home of Al and Laree Morin in Beaver Canyon. Keith Dotson, son of Keith and LaNell Dotson, was 13 years old Monday. That evening eve-ning he had a party for his classmates. Weekend visitors of Grant and Blanche Pryor were Mr. and Mrs. Jack Turner and son Scott of Midvale. Mrs. Turner is Blanche's sister. On Sunday Elolse Murdock, Mr. and Mrs. Mack Armstrong Arm-strong and Vilda Smith of Cedar City visited them. The group all traveled to Beaver to visit Bill Pryor, who Is recuperating from surgery. Marie (Carter) Millettand family of Cedar City visited Saturday with her parents, Ted and Dorothy Carter. |
