Courthouse Bonds Sold; Earth Science Road Gets 1st Priority Beaver County's new courthouse court-house seprrpd destined to smooth sailing Thursday as the Commissioners opened bids from five bidders starting at 4.9488 percent. The low bid belonged to Continental Bank and Trust Co, of Salt Lake City, Utah. Richard Christensen of Burrows, Bur-rows, Smith & Co. read the bids for the Commissioners. As bonding agents for Beaver County, they prepared the pro spectus and will follow up with the bonding procedure, and letting of bids, which should be completed In about six weeks. Continental's bid was for 4 34 from 1975 to 1978, 4 12 from 1979 to 1983, 5 from 1984 to 1988 and 5 14 from 1989 to 1990. The net interest charge is$167,025 or 4.9488. Other bidders were: E. F. Hutton Associates, Net charge $169,385.00, or5.0188;First Security, $170,071.00 or 5.0391, Zlon'sFirstNational $175,250.00 or 5.1925, and Kirtner -Moore Co. and Smith Burrows who bid $185,170.00 a net interest at 5.4865. Joe Smith and Jack Davis of the Milford State Bank and Sam Hickman of the Beaver City Branch were present representing rep-resenting two of the bidders.
