"J January 11, 1929 In an axciting basketball game, which required five minutes oertime play to break the te score, Milford High School vanquished van-quished Beaver last Friday evening eve-ning by a score of 18 to 15. The game was played on the Mil-ford Mil-ford floor. Milford's players were; R. Tanner, Hickman, Webb, Jones and Schow. A.n unusually pleasant afternoon after-noon was spent at the home of Mrs. Frank Farmer, Friday. Fortune telling was the feature. Those present were; Mesdames Williams, Broyles, Spence Schow, J. M. Kinney, George Femley and Milton Pool. January 10, 1947 First baby of the year was 7 lb. - 5 oz. Elaine Davis, born at 5:05 a.m., Friday, January 3, to Mr. and Mrs. Robert Davis of Milford. Maurice K. Wtfliams, Y 3c, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Williams, Wil-liams, will receive his discharge on January 26. He is spending his terminal leave at home. Four Milford Flying Service students passed their tests with Flying colors yesterday, according accord-ing to Ben Hillman, Manager. The new fliers are; Leo Mayer, Fred Holms, Hubert Hickman and Fred Anderson, all of whom received their entire instruction in-struction at the Milford Airport.
