Paul Huish, State Heart Fund chairman. Miss Altman has served previous previ-ous years as chairman. Miss Altman says that . the -Heart Association conducts its annual Heart Fund drive each February. During this month the homes will be contacted for contributions, reaching the peak on February .8th, Heart Sunday, Sun-day, when volunteers will call upon their neighbors for contributions. con-tributions. Funds raised from the campaign cam-paign will be used for the Heart Association's three-phased program of research, education, and community service. The Heart Association will conduct a state-wide educational education-al program on the warning symptoms of heart attack. Thousands of Americans die eachi year from heart attacks because they don't know the warning signs and wait too long to get medical care. An important part of this mass educational ed-ucational program fill be leaving leav-ing leaflets explaining the warning signs at each home by the Heart Fund volunteer.
