Refreshments were served to members after a business meeting. The Canasta Club was entertained en-tertained by Mrs. Eleanor Marshall Mar-shall at her horns Jan. 5. A luncheon was served to 10 members. Prizes were won by Mrs. Edith Marshall, Mrs. Florence Flor-ence Wood and ' Mrs. Eileen Craw. Mrs. Joan Makin and two children have returned to their home i.n Biloxie, Miss, after spending two months visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Howard How-ard Pryor. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Pryor and family of Orem, Utah called on Mr. and Mrs. Howard Pryor last week. Mrs. Ruth Dotson has been visiting her son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Dotson i.n Superior, Ariz. A family party was held on Saturday, Jan. 9 to celebrate the birthday of Thurman Eyre. Those attending were; Mr. and Mrs. Dale Eyre, Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Eyre, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Eyre, Mr. and Mrs. Garold Eyre, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Gibson, Thurman and Irma and their daughter, Mr. a.nd Mrs. David Gaie of Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Pryor and Mr. and Mrs. Don Yardl?y of Mi ford spent a few days in Las Vegas. Mrs. Leslie Anderson of Cyprus, Cy-prus, Calif., is here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clauss Marshall awaiting the birth of her child. Mr. and Mrs. Garold Eyre and Mr. and Mrs. Ross Marshall took the Eyre's son Kendall to Logan Sunday. Mrs. Leila Carter accompanied accompan-ied Mrs. Lois Pierson and her daughter, of Las Vegas, to Salt Lake last week. IN VIETNAM Marine Lance Corporal, Boyd V. Applegate, son of Mr. Lyle Applegate of Milford, Utah is serving with the First Marine Division in Vietnam. |
