Milford Invitational Basketball Tournament: The Invitational Basketball Tournament, sponsored by the Milford Letterman's Club, provided pro-vided some outstanding basketball basket-ball a.nd upheld the tradition for fund raising -which was started by the Letterman's Club several years ago. For the fans in attendance on Saturday night it provided them with an opportunity of observing some of the most spectacular basketball basket-ball ever played in our local gym. As I observed the first game between two Milford teams, I couldn't help but reminisce, remi-nisce, along with several others sitting with me, about the many thrills we have had over the past several years watching some members of the participating partici-pating teams. They represented some of the best ball players Milford High School has ever had. It would be wonderful, sometime, to see this group, along with some of our other outstanding ball players, play an exhibition game for us. |
