District Commander and Mrs. Norman Baxter, Mr. and Mrs. Steve Williams, Mrs. Bonnie Friar and Auxiliry President Mrs. Vilate Lang attended the District 7 Legion and Auxiliary convention at Beaver Saturday. 9 Michael Wisner of Las Vegas, formerly of Milford, took his pre-induction physical examination exami-nation Tuesday in Salt Lake. 9 Mrs. Glenda Fowles and children Linda, Tammy and Brent, of Orem, were here for the Junior Prom and visiting Mr. and Mrs. Del Fowles. 9 Lunn Turner was the engineer engi-neer on a U P ore train near Payson last Sunday, which was struck by a panel truck, killing kill-ing two men and injuring five others. The truck drove into the train, near the engine. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Stevers of South Milford have left for their home in California. Mr. Stevers had been employed by Nick Leko. Eldon Gillins of Panaca, Nev. joined Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Gillins in Milford and they attend at-tend funeral services in Lehi Monday for the men's aunt, Mrs. Eliza Colledge. 9 Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Gillins were in McGill recently visiting visit-ing his brother in law and sister, sis-ter, Albert and Vie Medley. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Magill have returned from a trip to Salt Lake. I Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Ewing of Pocatello will visit her son in law and daughter, Reece and , Judith Oman, Bradley Mem-mott, Mem-mott, Salt Lake; Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Reese and two daughters of Cedar City; Mr. and Mrs. Keith Gillins, Logan: Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Gray and Mr. and Mrs. Max Keetch, Las Vegas; Mrs. Glenda Fowles and children, chil-dren, Orem; Mrs. Myrtle Neil-son, Neil-son, Leamington. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Holbrok have returned after a three month trailer trip to Sunland, Calif., and Boulder, Nev., where they visited their children. 9 Mrs. Beth Ward will return to Long Beach, Calif., after assisting as-sisting in the home of her father, V. Waddoups, while Mrs. Waddoups was confined to the Milford Valley Hospital. Mrs. Wendy Pectol and baby cf Salt Lake are visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Holm. Dr. and Mrs. William McDonald Mc-Donald of California are visit ing his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. L. McDonald, after a skiing ski-ing trip to Aspen, Colo. 9 Mr. and Mrs. Lamar Lund motored to Beaver Thursday to Here from out of town to attend the Junior Prom were Mike and Carol Jean Hanley and Mike's girl friend, Irene Payne, and Boyd Schow from the CSU; Kathy Miller of Snow College; Karen Pipher, Twin Falls, Idaho; Eldon and Grace Marshall, Thursday, en route to California. While here they will observe Mrs. Ewing's 72nd birth anniversary. Now at the Marshall home are their daughter and grandson, Kathy Rowley nd Michael James, of Eureka, Nev. O Mrs. Nona Bradshaw of Beaver is assisting at the home of her father, Lyle Applegate, who has been a patient in the Milford Valley Hospital. O Mr. and Mrs. George Bush will make a business trip to Salt Lake this week. Mrs. Myrtle Neilson of Leamington Leam-ington is visiting her son and daughter in law, Mr. and Mrs, Rolan Larsen. She came to attend at-tend the Junior Prom, and will stay for the wedding of her grandson, Steven Larsen, to be held Friday in Minersville. C The old Frank Gospill farm is now owned by Mr. and Mrs. Gail Van Tassell. They are remodeling the house, which visit relatives and, Mrs. Lund's sister in Parowan. O Mrs. Rex Marshall is spending spend-ing a week in Beaver assisting her father, William T. Martin, who has just been released from the Beaver Hospital. O At the home of Mrs. Edythe Grimshaw last Saturday, and attending funeral services in Beaver for Dern Osborn, were Mrs. Myrtle Mills, Provo; Mr. and Mrs. Doug Farnow, Las Vegas; Mr. and Mrs. Hub art Hickman, Magna; Mr. and Mrs. Russell Grimshaw, Salt Lake; Mr. and Mrs. John Grimshaw and Mr. and Mrs, Ray Chrls-tensen, Chrls-tensen, Bountiful, 9 Mr. and Mrs. James Mayer of South Milford are building a new double garage, and a large bedroom for their daughters. daugh-ters. 9 Mrs. Reta Hitesman of Salt Lake is here to be with her daughter, Mrs. H. C. Cook.who was released from the Milford Valley Hospital Monday after being a patient for three weeks. 9 Mr. and Mrs. Lester Williams and Mrs. Eliza Hardy attended a wedding and reception in Kearns for their grandson, Ronald Hardy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alden Hardy of Magna, last Friday. 9 Pam Grimes of Bountiful was here to attend the Junior Prom last Saturday. 9 Ronnie and Vicki Turner have moved to Salt Lake. 9 Mrs. Bitty Wunderlich of Montebello, Calif., is here for a visit at the homes of Mr. and Mrs. Ollie Thomas and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Wunderlich. |
