Mr. and Mrs. r.a Jesse of California visited their child-dren, child-dren, the James Mayer and Russel Mayer families, and Mrs. Lillian Mayer and children chil-dren of Miiford, during the holidays. Returning to their respective schools after the holidays were Connie Marshall, Maxine Stewart, Stew-art, Louise Gilllns, Judith Cook, Laura and Linda Sherwood. James Mayer is on a two-day two-day business trip to Richfield. 9 Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Talbot and children of Brigham City were New Year guests of Mrs. Talbot's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Theman Walker. 6 Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Stoker and family spent the holidays with parents Mrs. Owen Stoker Stok-er and Mr. and Mrs. Clair Gil-lins. Gil-lins. They have resided in Logan Lo-gan the past two years, but will now make their home in Cedar City. NEWS OF YOUR NEIGHBORS IN SOUTH MILFORD Bj MRS. CLAIR GILLINS Woodrow and Marguerita Lee and son Dan of South Miiford enjoyed their holidays visiting visit-ing children and friends in California. They spent Christmas Christ-mas at Bakersfjeld with a son in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Moore; visited another an-other son in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Sylvia in Riverside; a son and daughter in law, Mr. and Mrs. John Lee in Calipatria, where the New Year was welcomed. Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Tolley spent several days visiting Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Gale and family at Dutch John. Miss Jennie Sue Smith visited vis-ited a friend in Santa Clara, Calif., from Tuesday until Sunday Sun-day last week, and also visited vis-ited an uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Smith, in San Francisco. O Mr. and Mrs. H. Naruse and family spent the holidays in Culver City, Calif., returning Sunday. Dick, Donald and Judy have returned to their schools. e Georgia Beth Smith returned to Washington, D. C, Wednesday, Wednes-day, after spending the holidays holi-days with her father, George Smith. Marsha left Sunday to return to school at Logan. Mr. and Mrs. John Bailey and family spent a few days last week end in Salt Lake. Their daughter Carolyn accompanied accom-panied them and returned to school. O Mike and Londa Jones of Springville spent part of the holiday season with Mr. and Mrs. Donald Jones and family. Dick Mayer was home for the holidays with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Russel Mayer. He has returned to his base at Fort Bliss, Texas. Odette was home for the holidays and has returned to her school in Arizona. Dee Sly was home over the New Year week end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Sly and brother Bob, and his other brother Oren, who spent the holidays here, has returned to his base in Arizona. Visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Lofthouse during dur-ing the holidays were their children, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Lofthouse and two sons of Salt Lake (Larry is a student at the U of U); Mr. and Mrs. James Maxwell and children of Logan; Mrs. Deon Alder and children of Ogden; and Mr. and Mrs, Ab Holm end chil- |
