Show KIZER BOWS OUT; SAYS THANKS In retiring after 12 years as Mayor of the City of Milford, I have a feeling of relief from a great responsibility; a feeling feel-ing of nostalgia (it's always hard to give up something you've cherished, loved, and enjoyed), and a deep sense of thankfulness and gratitude toward to-ward those with whom I've worked during these past 12 years. At this time I want to extend ex-tend my personal and heartfelt heart-felt thanks . . . my sincerest thanks ... to the men who have served with me on the City Council, to the employees of the City of Milford who have done so well in their jobs, and to the people of the community com-munity who have had confidence confi-dence in me and in the programs pro-grams I sponsored. I have retired as Mayor, but I am still a citizen of Milford. I will continue to work for the progress and development and improvement of Milford. I am proud to be a citizen of the finest little community in the West. Thank you, most sincerely, for the assistance you gave me and the confidence you showed in me while I was your Mayor. To Mayor Fisher I offer my congratulations, my assistance in whatever manner he may desire it, and my sincerest wishes for his success while in office. RAY KIZER. |
