Show LIONS ENCOURAGE NEW INDUSTRY The Milford Lions heard a report that an additional signing sign-ing program is under way on the road between Minersville and Cedar City, when Lion President Hy Tolley gaveled them to order Wednesday evening, eve-ning, and Secretary E. L-Smith L-Smith read a letter from a manufacturing concern expressing ex-pressing an interest In Milford as a possible factory site. The secretary was instructed to answer the letter, offering all assistance possible to the company. A group spearheaded by Claude Horton has ordered Scotchlite mileage signs, to be placed between Minersville and Cedar City, showing the distance to Milford. After being advised that the "12-ton Load Limit" signs on the Minersville - Cedar City road had "reappeared,'' the secretary was instructed to write the State Road Commission, Commis-sion, asking the reason. Originally the load limit signs were erected by Iron County, before the road was added to the state system. |
