Coach Ray Nagel's Utes toppled top-pled Colorado from the unbeaten unbeat-en ranks last year with a 21-12 performance at Folsom Field in Boulder, so the return match should be an interesting one. Visitors from areas outside of a radius of 50 miles from Salt Lake City will be provided accomodations in the University dormitories overnight if they wish . SENIORS OF STATE " WILL VISIT 'U' ON SEPT. 22 More than 3.000 high school seniors from throughout the state will get a taste of life on a college campus Saturday, Sept. 22. Occasion will be the Fourth Annual High School Day sponsored spon-sored by the University of Utah. The event is staged annually to acquaint Utah high school students with the educational opportunities available at their state university. Activities for the day will begin be-gin at 2 p.m. with registration on the west lawn of the University Uni-versity Union. University President Pres-ident A. Ray Olpin will wel come the seniors to the campus at 2:30 p.m. Representatives of 15 colleges col-leges and departments of the University will discuss the various var-ious courses of study available at the U. during college conferences con-ferences at 2:45 p.m. The' University Uni-versity offers 72 majors for undergraduates un-dergraduates ranging from Accounting Ac-counting to Zoology. Information and open house sessions will follow at 4:45 p.m. Topics at these meetings will include financial aid and scholarships, schol-arships, ROTC, Inter-Fraternity Council and Pan Hellenic Council. Coun-cil. The visitors will take the spotlight at 5:30 p.m. for a tal-et tal-et show and at 6:30 p.m. they will be guests of the University for a dinner in the Union Ball- |
