Show 0 Mrs. Kimmel Coon spent a week in La Mirada, Calif., at the home of her son and family, fam-ily, Mr. and Mrs. Blair Coon. & Mrs. Frances Smithson has returned from Fort Lewis, Wash., where she spent three weeks with her son, CWO Harry Har-ry Jefferson, who was confined to the base hospital, seriously ill. Mrs. Smithson returned after her son was released from the hospital. O Alph Lyman is enjoying an extended visit with her son in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Galloway. Silver Desert Camp, D U P, will hold their regular meeting Monday evening, Feb. 26, at the home of Mrs. Ardath Out-zen. Out-zen. e Bishop and Mrs. Edgar Edwards Ed-wards spent a few days in Salt Lake, Bishop Edwards attending attend-ing to business, and they visited visit-ed their children, Karl and Sally Merryweather and Larry and Mary Beth Edwards. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Hardy are living in the house formerly for-merly occupied by Mr. and Mrs. Lorraine Hardy. Mrs. Euzell Thomas of Beaver Beav-er is visiting her son in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Gillins, and Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Killam. 6 Gary and Lois Gillins and two babies of Las Vegas were in Milford last week end at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Ger-ald Gillins. 4s Ronnie Gillam, son of Mr. and Mrs. Doug Gillam, has enlisted en-listed in the U S Air Force and is stationed in San Antonio, An-tonio, Texas. O Fred Gillam, son of Mr. and Mrs. Doug Gillam, who recently recent-ly was injured in an accident while employed by a drilling company at Pinedale, Wyo., is now in Milford at the home of his parents. Mrs. Gillam and Fred recently traveled to Wyoming Wyo-ming where Fred received his monthly checkup . Mr. and Mrs. Roger Aagard and family of Salt Lake were in Milford last week end at the home of parents Mr. and Mrs. Wilmer L. Aagard and Mr. and Mrs. Steve Inman. A DAUGHTER was born Saturday, Feb. 17, in Salt Lake City, to Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Brinkman. This is their second sec-ond child. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Ben Cooper and Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Brinkman. & Mrs. Patsy Nilsson of Las Vegas spent a week in Milford to be with her mother, Mrs. Orin Puffer, who is ill. Mr. and Mrs. Warren Atkin are in Salt Lake this week. The W S C S of the Methodist Metho-dist Church will hold their regular meeting Tuesday evening, eve-ning, Feb. 27, at 8 p. m. in the Methodist Church. The Lady Lions will hold their regular meeting Wednes' day evening, Feb. 28, at 8 p. m. in the Hong Kong Cafe. A George Washington theme will be carried out. Mrs. Lillian Mayer and Mrs. Margaret Mux-dock Mux-dock will be hostesses. Mrs. Nina Marshall is employed em-ployed at the Corner Drug. PERSONALS O Mrs. Neva Kinross has returned re-turned to Milford after a three month visit in Chicago with her daughter and family. J. Junius Carling, who was killed in a plane crash last Saturday near Clear Lake, was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Carling, former Milford residents. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Cline left Thursday for Las Vegas where they spent the week end with friends from Los Angeles, e Mr. and Mrs. Sam Cline are enjoying a mid-winter vacation at Furnace Creek in Death Valley. m Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Outze.n have been in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Gladys Whittaker and Duard Nay were in Salt Lake City to see their mother, Mrs. John Nay, who was seriously ill in St. Marks Hospital. She has been released from the hospital and is much improved. 9 It's good to see Billie Stoker back at the Jefferson Merc checking counter. Billie recently re-cently underwent surgery in the Beaver County Hospital. A birthday party will be given honoring Mrs. Bell James on her 81st anniversary. Relatives Rela-tives from Milford and out of town will atttend. Mr. and Mrs. L. G. Clay were in Victorville, Calif., calling call-ing on Mrs. Clay's brother and sister in law, Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Carling. Mr. Clay returned to Milford and Mrs. Hampton Burke joined Mrs. Clay, and the two ladies traveled to Bullhead City, Ariz., near Davis Da-vis Dam, to visit Mr. and Mrs. Frank Shuck, former Milford residents. Mrs. Clay and Mrs. Burke returned last Sunday. 9 Mr. and Mrs. Steve Williams attended the Utah State Press Association annual convention in Salt Lake Ctiy last Saturday Satur-day and Sunday. |
