Show 'Romeo and Juliet' Will Re C S U Drama Production Many weeks of intensive preparation pre-paration will be "on stage" when Romeo and Juliet will live and love again at College of Southern Utah beginning Wednesday, Feb. 21 through Saturday, Feb. 24. Prof. Fred Adams is play director. The immortal romantic tragedy tra-gedy will be reenacted amid flourishes of great authenticity. Stage setting will be a reproduction re-production of an ancient English En-glish tiring-house of Shake-Fneare's Shake-Fneare's day. The set nears 3V2 tons and cost some $1,200. Several hundred dollars were spent on research and construction con-struction of 42 authentic costumes cos-tumes in rich colors, said Mr. Adams. Reservations have been received re-ceived from several high schools from places as far distant as Boulder City, Nevada Nev-ada and Green River, Utah, according to Mr. Adams. Curtain time each evening is at 8:15 p.m. This will be preceeded by minstral singing and Dancing on the green all in the ancient tradition of the theater of Shakespeare's day. |
