Show ELECTORS TO CAST BALLOTS TUESDAY FOR NATIONAL, STATE, LOCAL OFFICES Next Tuesday, Nov. 8, voters of Beaver County and the nation will flock to the polls in the largest turnout of voters in the history of this nation, to elect public officials to direct our country, states and counties for the next four years. This year there has been greater interest among the vot-res vot-res and greater campaign activity among the candidates than ever before. More people are showing more concern about their future. Pollsters general have the nation na-tion going Democrat, but most agree that Nixon is gaining ground on Kennedy but doubt if he can gain it fast enough to win the election. In Utah, it's just the opposite, with most political prognosticat-ors prognosticat-ors agreeing that Barlocker, who held an early popular lead, is losing ground fast to Clyde. Voters in Milford and South Milford will receive three ballots: the general election ballot, a state Board of Education ballot, and a Beaver County Board of Education ballot. Elsewhere in Beaver County voters will receive two ballots, the State Board ballot and one for the general election. |
