Show BEAVER ;;3 CHURCH NEWS The three Beaver wards held a conjoint sacrament meeting Sunday evening in the First-Third Ward Chapel and honored James Bradshaw at a farewell. He leaves soon to fill a mission in Japan. Speakers were his parents, Mr. and Mrs. LaVal Brad- shaw; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lafe Bradshaw; Robert White, Bishop Roy Harris, President Yardlev, and James. Phillip Nel son lctt by bus Sunday evening to enter the mission home in Salt Pake, to prepare for a mission to the East-Central States. Included in the many Conference Con-ference visitors from Beaver were President and Mrs. Wallace Wal-lace Yardley, President ano Mrs. Dee Stapley, Bishop and Mrs. Walter Kerksiek, Wanda Wan-da Roberts, Marsene Dalton, and' Mr. and 'Mrs. Dennis ' White. Attending the Relief Society sessions were members of the Beaver Stake board. President Kathleen Farnsvvorth. Hcttie Harris, Lucille A. The Fifth Quorum of Elders El-ders of the Beaver Second Ward held a farewell party Friday evening for Mr. and Mrs. Earl McEwcn, who will leave soon to make their home in Salt Lake. Mr. McEwen has been an officer in the quorum. Guests were members of the quorum and the bishopric, and their wives. The evening was enjoyed playing games, with prizes going to Oscar Larscn and Clark Smith. |
