Show J' v i Beaver r: High School , Notes - I By Julie Ann Farrer FRESHMAN FROLIC DEEMED SUCCESS The first student body dance-was dance-was held last Friday night as the Freshman Class presented their Freshman Frolic. The gym was decorated in blue and white to the theme of "Enchanted Island." A good crowd was in attendance, and evervone enjoyed themselves. In honor of the dance the Freshmen also presented an assembly. Mew talent and good organization resulted in many compliments for the assembly as-sembly and this, too ,was judged a success. BEAVER DEFEATED BY CEDAR CITY The Beaver High football team met a much superior squad last Friday, as they played Cedar City. The Beavers played well and fought hard but couldn't seem to stop the Redmen. The final score was in Cedar's favor, fa-vor, 39 to 0. Hurricane will be the scene of a hard-fought game to be played Thursday afternoon between Beaver and Hurricane. Hurri-cane. The Beaver team, along with Cuach Lindsay, are very excited about the game and hope to make a good showing against the strong Hurricane team. K S U B REPRESENTATIVE REPRESENT-ATIVE CHOSEN After tryouts held several weeks ago with Mr. Park and Mr. Dean, and final approval last Friday, with Radio Station Sta-tion K S U B. Julie Ann Farrer Far-rer Was named K S U B representative rep-resentative from Beaver High School. She will telephone athletic activities to the sVition and will also report, by mail, all school activities. |
