Show Wesley Farrers Observe 50th Anniversary Mr. and Mrs. Wesley W. Farrer, Beaver, observed their golden wedding anniversary today (Thursday), with an open house at their home. Thev were married Oct. 16, 1908, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Both have been active in church and civic activities of Beaver where they have lived since 1910. Mr. Farrer was born April 29, 1888, at Beaver, a son of J.-imes W. and Mary Ann Smith Farrer. He was bishop 12 years, during which time the West Ward Chapel was built. Pie served two terms as mayor of Beaver City and has been active in community projects. Mrs. Farrer, the former Lotta Ross, was born in Joseph, Jo-seph, March 19, 1888, a daughter daugh-ter of John and Sarah Wells Ross. She has been Relief Society president four years and Stake Relief Society secretary. sec-retary. They have three sons and. two daughters living: Mrs. Chloe Fillmore, Wells; McKay Mc-Kay and Rondo Farrer, Beaver; Beav-er; Mrs. Claudia Alstrom, Cedar Ce-dar City, and 20 grandchildren. |
