ASSEMBLY PRESENTED The Utah Dairy Association presented an assembly to the B H S student body last Friday. The program was highlightc'. iby a film and a short talk by the Utah Dairy Princess. Two Farm Youth Exchange Students also spoke to the students. By Julie Ann Farrer BEAVER HIGH GETS ANOTHER "FIRST" The music department of Beaver Bea-ver High School has achieved another an-other "first." Last Friday morning, morn-ing, a talented ensmeble group played for a U E A meeting in Sa.'t Lake. Mr. Low, music director., direc-tor., explained 'that this is the first time Beaver has been invited to partcipate on such a program. Bi inging honor to our school and to themselves, Kenneth Yard-ley. Yard-ley. Mary Jane Williams and Abe Gillies played a -trombone trio. The students and teachers ara very proud of this -musical achievement achieve-ment and offer our congratulations to them and also to Mr. 'Low. FRESHMAN FROLIC UNDER WAY This week the Freshmen at B H S 3.re frantically working to put the finishing touches to their dance and assembly. The annual affair o.f the Freshman Fresh-man olass is expected to be a "'big deal" this year. Under direction of the class officers and the dance committee, the group Is working hard on decorations and the assembly as-sembly which will be presented Friday morning. The dance that night featuring the theme "Enchanted Island" will take us to a tropical isle. Freshmen students urge support of this affair.
