Show Beaver Has New Science Library The American Association for the Advancement of Science and the National Science -Foundation, Washington, D. C., have made available a 200-volume circulating library, for the Beaver High School. These books have been screened on the basis of reading level and interest from the many books in the various fields of science which would appeal to the student of the Secondary School level. 1'he first 50 of these books are on hand in the Beaver High School Library under supervision of Wallace Wal-lace 'Dean. In handling these personally per-sonally Allen C. Reynolds of the Science Department said, "They are of exceptional appeal, good reading, and very informative. I am happy in the number of, students stu-dents who are using these splendid splen-did books." The 50 volumes . will be exchanged ex-changed about Nov. 14 with volumes vol-umes at other schools in Utah -until all 200 volumes are made available avail-able to the students of Beaver High. As a result of student interest in the.--fi volumes, several of them are r vlng purchased from the publish pub-lish ers and wjll be made a part of the Beaver High School library. |
