Smith has been a ipa-tient ipa-tient in the Iron County Hospital following surgery for varicose veins. w Frank Smith entered the hos- .pital at Cedar City Tuesday to un dergo surgery on his legs. Mr. and Mrs. Jcrr. Kindred were overnight guests at the home of Mrs. Kindred's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Gunn, recently. They wer en route from Los Angeles, where they had spent the summer, to Provo where Mr. Kindred will attend the B Y U. They returned to Beaver the following week end and accompanied accompa-nied Mr. and Mrs. Gunn on a trip to Glen Canyon Dam. Mr. and Mrs. Gunn left the first of ffiis weeE "for a visit with their sons Byron and Reed in California, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Eyre returned re-turned to Beaver Tuesday. Gordon Gor-don has been called backto Mil-ford Mil-ford to work for the next month. Mr. and Mrs. Otto Schwob attended at-tended funeral services in Milford last week for Barney Fothering-ham Fothering-ham and visited Mr. Sohwob's sisters, sis-ters, Mrs. Lena Morris and Mrs. Emma Walker, also Mrs. Theman Walker, Hilda Nolen and Thelma Gillins. Mrs. LaVee Ford is spending some time with her parents, Bishop Bish-op and Mrs. Roy Harris, while her husband is temporarily emipJoyed in Alaska. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Stewart and two children of Tooele spent . the school vacation in Beaver with 1 Mrs. Stewart's parents, Mr. and I Mrs. Harvey Asnworth. HM3 Nile Muir arrived home Friday on a 25day leave from the U S Navy. Nile is stationed at .the Supply Center at Oakland, Calif. His wife and baby have been visiting in Beaver the past month. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Thompson of Kanab visited last weeft end with Mrs. Lawrence Thompson in Greenville and in Beaver with Mr. and Mrs. Warren Gillies. |
