Show Anderson Meadow Dam Dedication Planned for Saturday The general public, and especially espe-cially all sportsmen and widlife iclub members, h,;ive been invited to attend dedication of Anderson Meadow Dam in the Beaver Mountains Moun-tains on Saturday, Oct. 11. The dam, constructed by the Utah State Department of Fish and Game, makes possible a 10-acre 10-acre fishing like about 3 miles above Kents Lake The dedication program is being be-ing arranged by f.'ie Beaver Wildlife Federation, uniler direction di-rection of Evau Nielson, presi-dnet. presi-dnet. Gov. George B. Clyde has betn invited to participate in the ded-. ded-. ication services, which will include a short program, history of the -project, comments by Fish and Game officials, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Following lunch, which will be served at the damsite, a tour of the new Kents Lake-LeBaron National Na-tional Forest road will be conducted, conduct-ed, by way of LeBaron Lake, Big Flat and Puffers Lake. Anderson Meadow Dam is located lo-cated high on the South Fork of the Beaver River within the Fish-lake Fish-lake National Forest. The completion com-pletion of the dam marks the completion com-pletion of a fisheries conservation project of long standing. The resulting re-sulting lake will afford a permanent perma-nent fishing lake -for the many users of the public waters of Southern Utah. The lake will be filled with water during the coming com-ing win-ter, after which the water level will remain constant, to insure in-sure good fish culture. The local water users have granted ipermis-sion ipermis-sion to store the water in the reservoir. res-ervoir.
