Show Menzies Benson Marks 23 Years' Service With Mountain States Menzies Benson. Central District Dis-trict Manager for the Mountain States Telephone Co., celebrated 25 years of service in the telephone tele-phone industry Friday, March 7, at a luncheon m Salt Lake. He was presented with a jew- X i 1 s i 4 j Menzies Benson eled service pin in commemoration commemor-ation of the event by F. D. Sawyer, Saw-yer, Utah Commercial Manager, who congratulated Mr. Benson on his many years of service and the active part he has played in developing telephone communications in Utah. Mr. Benson started his telephone tele-phone career with the Mountain Moun-tain States in St. George. In addition to serving as manager in Beaver and Cedar City, he has held various positions in Tooele, Park City, Panguitch, and Salt Lake. He was transferred from Cedar Ce-dar City to Salt Lake Oct. 1, 1951, as Communications Engineer, En-gineer, a position he held 'for one year. From this assignment he advanced to Unit Manager. Feb. 1, 1955, he was appointed Central District Manager in charge of the company's commercial com-mercial operations in the exchanges ex-changes of Tooele, Bingham Canyon, Magna, Murray,. Mid-vale, Mid-vale, Park City, Heber City, Roosevelt and Vernal. |
