Show 24 MILFORD . LEGIONNAIRES TO BE HONORED Continuous, membership cards adding up to a total of 240 years' service in the American Legion will be presented to 24 members mem-bers of Milford Post No. 16 at a special meeting preceding "the Victory Party in the Legion Hall Saturday evening. Oldest member in point of service is Sam Cline, who will receive a 30 - year membership card. Receiving 20 - year cards will be Vernon M. Burns, Clarence Grimshaw, J. M. Hughes, and LaMar Outzen. O. R. Smith will receive a 15-year 15-year card. Ten - year continuous membership mem-bership cards will be issued to Jack Davis, John Grimshaw, Warren Johnson, George Litchfield, Litch-field, and Steve Williams. , Receiving five - year cards will be Alva Kirk Jr., commander com-mander of the Milford post; Leo Harton, Frank Grimes, W. W. Estep, George Campeau John Beitz, A. S. Lorentz, Leo Mayer, Dave Morris, E. W. Nielson, Jack Radtke, Joseph William Smith, and Nate B. Smith. Following the presentation of the continuous membership cards, which will be made by District Commander William A. Low of Beaver, the Legion-airas Legion-airas and veterans of the county will enjoy a Victory Celebration party, dancing to the music of Jake Schow's Redcoats until midnight, when a buffet banquet will be served by the Legion Auxiliary. A refreshment bar will be open throughout the: evening. |
