The Weber State University Chamber Choir will present their annual Spring Concert Friday, May 24 at 7:30 p.m. in the First United Methodist Church on 24th and Jefferson Avenue, Ogden. According to Dr. Mark Henderson, director of the Chamber Choir, this group is comprised of twenty-four select voices, and they sing mostly from the classical repertoire. The concert will include a variety of styles and languages, both old and new. The program will include 'Trois Chansons," which means three songs, and is believed to be Debussy's only composition for choral alone; a set of 'Three Chorused from e. e. cummings," composed by Peter Schickle, better known as P. D. Q. Bach; "Bead Quorum Via" by Charles Villiers Stanford; and a fun Venezuelan piece (See CHOIR page 13) QadzvalC & Woody MAY 1,8,15.22,AND 29 Die Layton P. Olt Planetarium presents "Stars in the Sky" at 6:30 p.m. and 'The Explorers" at 7:30 p.m. also an outdoor observation session (weather permitting). Tickets for one show are 51,50 general and 75 cents for students; for both shows it's shows, 52 general and $1 students. MAY 21-25 The Associated Actors and Technicians of WSU present "Extremities" in the Monson Theatre of the Browning Arts Center at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $2 general admission and $1 for students and senior citizens and are available at the Dee Events Center ticket office. MAY 22-23 Dance Establishment recital at 7 p.m. in the Austad Auditorium of the Browning Arts Center. Tickets are $3 general admission and are available at the door. MAY 22-23 'Toy Makers Dream" will be performed in the Dee Events Center. Call the ticket office at 626-8500 for ticket information.MAY 22-25 "Camille Claudcl" will be showing in the Wildcat Theatre in the Shepherd Union Building at 8 p.m. Tickets are $1 and will be entered into a drawing for various nifty prizes. Free popcorn will be provided. MAY 24 The "World's Smallest Circus" of the Royal Liechtenstein Circus will be performing at 11:30 a.m. in the Moench Mall. Check it out! OFF CAMPUS MAY 24 WSU Chamber Choir will perform at 7:30 p.m. in the First Methodist Church at 26th Street and Jefferson.
