Show Waklili,; Wool. Sheepmen are quite generally abandoning aban-doning the wa.-liing of wool on the ahecp or any other way. The prices received for washed over unvvaslvd wool is now not enough to pay for the work and for exposing the sheep to colds from the water. The centrifugal cen-trifugal machines that wash the wooi so quickly and thoroughly are too keen competitors of the shepherd. Perhaps the waslu d wool is really a little more valuable, hut if it is the buyer is unwilling to make inducements induce-ments in the way of bettor prices. |
