Show War Ration Books To Be Issued In County On October 27 War ration book four, designed to last for a two-year period, will be issued at the Elementary school from 3:30 to 6:00 p.m., on Wednesday, Wed-nesday, Thursday and Friday, October Oc-tober 27, 28 and 29, E. Eric Snow, chairman of the St. George war price and rationing , board announced an-nounced today. The east end of the county is handled as a separate sep-arate unit. Just how they plan to do it is not known at this time. ' Teachers will issue the books in St. George, Santa Clara, Washington, Wash-ington, Enterprise, Gunlock, Veyo, Central and Leeds. They will be issued by the Postmaster in Pine Valley. All towns in the west end of the county, except St. George are to apply on Wednesday, Wednes-day, Oct. 27th only. People in Motoqua, Littlefield, Pintura, Tuweep and Mt. Trumbull Trum-bull will also receive their applications appli-cations at their local post offices. Applicants are reminded that for each new book sought, a copy of war ration book three must be presented at the registration site. Members of the same family within the same household must apply on the same form, which may be signed and presented by any person whom the family appoints ap-points to act for it. Applicants need not declare the cans of processed foods stored by the family when applying for ration ra-tion book four, the chairman said. On page six of the current issue, is-sue, for the convenience of subscribers, sub-scribers, a facsimile of the application appli-cation form for ration book four has been printed. Those who cut and fill this form out at home to be presented to the registration registra-tion board, should clip it exactly along the black lines bordering the application. |
